BHBC Meeting Minutes - April 12, 2006
Bob Ellithorpe opened the meeting with introducing Doug with Colonel’s Bicycle Shop. Doug provided us with a “fix-a-flat” clinic and gave all BHBC members a free water bottle. Afterward, Doug answered questions from the membership and offered a 20% discount for purchases made at this meeting.
Lynne Harris provided an update on socks. There are still a few members who have not responded with their sock size as of yet. Delivery is expected in the next 2-3 weeks.

Only one week left to sign up for the March of Dimes WalkAmerica 2006 scheduled for Saturday, April 22. The Bell Helicopter Bicycle Club will participate this year. For those cyclists who are participating please don’t forget to get your money to Bob Ellithorpe NLT Monday April 17th.
The starting point for the walk is Billy Bob's Parking Lot in the Fort Worth Stock Yards. (Look for the Bell Helicopter Flag flying on Terry Boich’s truck!) You can choose from a 5-, 16-, 25- and 45-mile routes. All routes are out and back along the flat Trinity River Trail. We will ride West-Southwest toward Benbrook Lake. The ride will end at the Trinity Park Pavilion (across the river from Downtown Fort Worth near the Botanic Gardens).
