ROUTE: We will travel west down the I-20 Service Road passing the spots where Larry and Tom were killed, cross under I-20 at Milkus Rd, take the eastbound service road to Bankhead, to Ranch House and back to Brookshires. The distance is about 6 miles, with a few moderate hills. Those who wish, may continue east past Brookshires on the service road to FM 1187, cross over and loop back to Ranch House, adding about 4 miles and a really good hill.
The ride will begin at the end of the parking lot on Trinity Park Drive in the Trinity Park of Fort Worth. The ride will start out on the Trinity Trail then go into downtown Fort Worth for 5 loops through town. The loops circle the Tarrant County Courthouse and then finishes back down the Trinity Trail. One warning though, Taylor Street which leads us into town is quite a steep hill so be ready to climb a rather steep hill.
